HTC M7 With Sense 5.0 Spotted?

We have seen the HTC M7 in leaked renders, but what you see above is the purported real deal, where it is the HTC M7 in the flesh with Sense 5.0 in tow, thanks to the folks over at Android Police. There were reports going around over the weekend of a render based on the real deal, but why settle for second best when you could possibly see the actual HTC M7 in the flesh?

This does seem to be the most legitimate image of the HTC M7 to date, and it does seem to add up to previous renders, although one must take note that both of the home and multitasking buttons have changed positions, and the back of the HTC M7 will differ considerably compared to what we have seen before.

For instance, the flash is on a totally different side, while the HTC logo comes across as glossy black (inviting fingerprints, no doubt) instead of the shiny looking embedded chrome. There will be a Beats logo that stands there as a lone ranger, without being accompanied by any text, FCC logo or any other product certification marks, which means what you see here is still not quite the final version that is ready for prime time viewing.
There were screenshots of HTC Sense 5.0 bandied about as well, and it was reported that one of the latest widgets to hit town would be the clock widget, coming in a far more subtle design that is vector-based, compared to the skeuomorphic design which HTC employed previously.
So, what will it be - the HTC M7 or the Motorola X Phone? It might be a wee bit too close to call at this point in time, but assuming the Motorola X Phone lives up to its promise, it would certainly be something worth looking forward to.
